RSVP on Meetup. A helmet is asked for and the group is run by volunteers, so you ride at your own risk. Stop for refreshments at the Abbey Tavern in Howth village.
First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

About the Howth Social Cycle group ride
Howth Social Cycle is a social group ride in Dublin, Ireland. It rolls every Friday at 6:30 pm local time from The Sails sculpture, Alfie Byrne Road / Clontarf Road.
An evening social cycle out the coastal path to Sutton Cross, over Howth Hill to the village, then back by a shorter route. About 25 km, mostly flat. Drinks at the Abbey Tavern in Howth.
