Guests can ride once; after that the club asks you to join. Helmet required. Arrive about five minutes early, the group rolls on time. A sweeper rides at the back.

A long-running Davis club ride out to Winters by County Road 29 and Buckeye Road, with a 20-minute break, then back by Putah Creek Road and the Russell bike path. Turnout is usually 8 to 18 riders. The club says it is welcoming to newcomers and regroups about halfway.
