For visitors

Helmets, bike lights at dusk and water are required by the group. Rides leave promptly; change your Meetup RSVP if you can't make it. The group says you should be able to ride a White Rock lap (10.9 miles) in under an hour.

First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 8–12 mph: you can talk the whole way.

Tuesday Back to Basics (Dallas Pedals & Pints) is a social group ride in Dallas, TX. It rolls every Tuesday at 6:30 pm from White Rock Alehouse and Brewery.

A slower weekly ride for people new to the group, older riders coming back to the bike, and anyone who likes the social part. The first rides go around White Rock Lake, with some of the SOPAC trail later. Dinner or drinks after is standard.
