For visitors

Show and go: the shop says this is not a no-drop ride, though the B2 group has a leader and a sweeper and tries to keep riders together. Helmets required. Riders usually meet for drinks and appetizers nearby after.

First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
The easiest pace the host lists is 18–19 mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It's a drop ride: if you can't hold the pace, you'll finish alone. Fine if you know your speed. Not a first ride.
Check
Look at the host's website the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

I do the miles. You decide who they’re for.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
