Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 16+ mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It's a drop ride: if you can't hold the pace, you'll finish alone. Fine if you know your speed. Not a first ride.

I do the miles. You decide who they’re for.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
