- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

About the Trample group ride
Trample is a social group ride in Birmingham, AL. It rolls every Thursday at 6:30 pm from Redemptive Cycles.
Weekly ride from Birmingham's nonprofit community bike shop. One big group across downtown, about ten mostly flat miles, beginner to expert and all ages. The shop's other events (alley cats, tall bike jousts, Cranksgiving) grow out of this crowd.
