Front and rear lights required once it's dark. Free, but register on Cascade's site and attend the safety briefing. Go/no-go call is made at 4:20 pm on rough weather. A hilly ride.

Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:20 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 16–18 mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

A Thursday evening Cascade free group ride around the Eastside, with a different route each week and about 25 miles with 1,500 feet of climbing. It's brisk on the flat and climbs are at your own pace. First ride of each month finishes at Chipotle.
