For visitors
A short safety talk happens each week before the roll; arrive by 4:30. The A group rides to the Kern County Raceway Park driveway and back; B and C ride to the Enos Lane lot and back.
First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Expect under 20 mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
- Check
- Look at the host's website the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the KW Weekly Evening Club Ride group ride
